How to take the test in Bern
We have no office in Bern. We only work by travelling to the client with EyeDetect equipment or online via VerifEye.
Online today: VerifEye
You receive a link, the person takes the test from a phone in a quiet room, in 15–20 minutes. The PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test, the examiner's explanation the same day. Suitable for fidelity checks and job candidates.
Specialist visit with EyeDetect
Visits are scheduled around requests: we collect several requests in the region and set a date. The test takes place in your office or a rented room. 6–8 people can be tested in a day.
How much will the test in Bern cost?
Answer 5 short questions and a specialist will calculate the exact price of a visit or an online test and call you back. Free and with no obligation.
Common reasons to book a test
Theft or missing money
When several people are under suspicion, each of them answers the same questions. The result is not court evidence and is no substitute for reporting to the police.
Infidelity in a relationship
We check one specific suspicion: we draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance. The test is voluntary and requires written consent.
Job candidate or employee
Screening before hiring or during employment on agreed topics, such as theft at a previous job or ties to competitors.
Dispute without evidence
A debt, an agreement or an accusation where it is one person's word against another's: the test checks a specific version of events. The result is not court evidence.
Zurich, Geneva and other cities in Switzerland
The VerifEye online test can be taken from any city in Switzerland. EyeDetect visits to other cities work the same way: we set the date once several requests come in from the region.
Zurich · Geneva · Basel · Lausanne · Lucerne · St. Gallen · Winterthur · Olten · Davos

Questions about the test in Bern
We have no office in Bern, so there are two options. You can take the VerifEye online test today on your phone, in a quiet room at home or at work. The EyeDetect test takes place during a specialist visit, in your office or a rented room in Bern.
VerifEye online test: UAH 2,500 (≈ CHF 46) for one question, UAH 4,000 (≈ CHF 73) for three, UAH 6,000 (≈ CHF 110) for six, with no extra charges. EyeDetect with a visit: from UAH 10,000 (≈ CHF 183) for one question and UAH 15,000 (≈ CHF 275) for three, plus travel from Lviv and the venue. Prices are in hryvnias; franc amounts are approximate, at the NBU rate of 15.09.2026.
We plan trips to Switzerland once several requests come in from the region, so we cannot tell you in advance how long the wait will be. Once the date is agreed, a specialist comes from Lviv with EyeDetect equipment, and the test takes place in your office or a rented room. If you need an answer sooner, you can take the VerifEye online test today: the test takes 15–20 minutes, and the PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test.
The direct FlixBus from Lviv to Bern takes 34–45 hours by timetable, and a one-way ticket costs roughly UAH 3,900–5,900 (≈ €75–115) depending on the dates. The EyeDetect equipment travels as baggage: a FlixBus ticket includes one 20 kg case of up to 80×50×30 cm, and a larger case is paid for separately as special baggage. By car it is about 1,660 km and almost 17 hours of pure driving, excluding the border queue, so in practice it is a two-day drive. There are no direct flights to Bern: Bern-Belp airport handles only seasonal holiday routes. Flying therefore means Zurich, Basel or Geneva, and a train onward: the direct train from Zurich Airport to Bern takes 1 h 12 min. Travel and the venue are paid separately from the test. We will give you the exact round-trip amount once the dates are known.

Yes. The test checks one specific suspicion, for example infidelity over a certain period. The partner under suspicion takes it, or both partners take separate tests. The test is voluntary and requires written consent. The VerifEye online test costs from UAH 2,500 (≈ CHF 46), and you do not need to wait for a visit.
You can take the test in Ukrainian, Russian, English or German. German is the main language of Bern, so it is usually the easiest option for local participants. We do not run the test in French, Italian or Romansh. We draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance.
Switzerland is not in the EU, so the GDPR does not apply here. Personal data is protected by the Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG), in force since 1 September 2023. We cautiously treat test data as sensitive, and for sensitive data Article 6 DSG requires express, voluntary and informed consent. The law prescribes no particular form, but we always take written consent: that way we can show it was express and informed. Article 31 DSG names the person's consent as the ground that makes the processing lawful. Minors take the test only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present. The rules for testing employees and job candidates are stricter: Article 328b of the Code of Obligations allows an employer to process employee data only in so far as it concerns their suitability for the job or is necessary to perform the employment contract, so talk to a lawyer before such a test. The result cannot be used in criminal proceedings: Article 140 of the Criminal Procedure Code bans means capable of impairing a person's capacity to think or freedom of will, and bans them even with the person's consent, while Article 141 makes such evidence unusable. As far back as 1999, answering a parliamentary enquiry, the Federal Council stated that the use of lie detectors in criminal proceedings is prohibited in Switzerland. Our result is not court evidence.
