Suspecting infidelity: where to start
A suspicion of infidelity rarely rests on evidence. More often it is a phone that has become off-limits, a new schedule with no explanation, unexplained spending, and none of these signs proves anything on its own. So start not with accusations but with what exactly you want to know: whether there was sexual contact with another person, since what date, whether there was secret correspondence. Once the question about infidelity is phrased as a fact within a specific period, a test can answer it instead of guesswork.
Can a result be “arranged”?
An understandable fear: what if my partner pays and the report says what they need? Here the score in the report is not set by the examiner: the Converus algorithm calculates it, from 1 to 99, from the recording of eye reactions, the same way for every person. The examiner prepares the questions, controls the test conditions and explains the report, but cannot change the score.
You can check this on the spot: when you meet the examiner, you open the original report yourself in the Converus system dashboard on our computer, in our presence. That is why a report cannot be bought or adjusted here. In the VerifEye online test the score is likewise calculated by the Converus algorithm.
Memories do not distort the result
A classic polygraph records physiological reactions that can be influenced by anxiety, fear, and emotionally significant memories. EyeDetect works on a different principle: it analyzes cognitive load through eye movements, pupil changes, and reading and response speed. That is why an emotional reaction on its own is not the main indicator EyeDetect uses to determine the result.
Questions about facts, not feelings
We do not ask “do you love me”. We ask whether there was sexual contact with another person since a specific date, whether there was romantic correspondence, whether there were hidden expenses. Such questions have a clear yes-or-no answer.
Both partners read the questions in advance
Before the test, the person reads a full explanation of every question: what counts as contact, what does not, and for which period. There are no surprises or traps: both partners understand the questions the same way before the test begins.
A separate score for each question
The report shows a score from 1 to 99 for each topic. It happens that a person is clean on sexual contact but not on correspondence. You see the full picture, not a single word: “lied”.

Questions and answers
No. The test is taken voluntarily only, with written consent. No one can be forced to take it. A refusal is also information, but not proof of guilt.
Consent is given by the person taking the test: voluntarily and in writing, before it starts. The wish of the person ordering the test is not enough, and we do not run covert tests. If both partners are tested, each signs their own consent. The report goes to the client; whether to show it to your partner is your decision.
In everyday speech any lie detector gets called a polygraph, so a fidelity test is often called a polygraph test too. We run it on EyeDetect: a camera records eye movements and pupil changes while the person reads statements on a screen and answers “true” or “false”. There are no sensors on the body. A classic polygraph is a different method: it records breathing, pulse and sweating, and the examiner draws the conclusion from the charts. We do not run classic polygraph tests.
Step one: you call or write to say who will take the test, what worries you and over what period. Step two: together we word one to three questions. Step three: before the test the person gives written consent and reads the full text of the questions with explanations; if they disclose an episode themselves, we adjust the questions. Step four: the EyeDetect test, 30–45 minutes in front of a laptop with a camera in our office at 45 Horodotska St. Step five: the score is ready less than five minutes after the test ends, and we explain how to read the report. Together with the interview, plan for about an hour.

Those about an event within a specific period that can be answered “yes” or “no”: sexual contact with another person since a certain date, secret romantic correspondence in the last six months, hidden spending on another person. One test can cover one to three such questions. Questions about feelings, thoughts and intentions do not fit: “do you love me”, “would you like to leave”, “do you think about someone else”.

In Lviv the EyeDetect test takes place in our office at 45 Horodotska St. Within Lviv region the examiner also travels with the equipment; the price of the visit is quoted after your request. In Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia the EyeDetect test is run by our partner at the partner's own office, where a family test costs UAH 8,500. A visit to the client is also available there: UAH 8,500 within the city, UAH 12,000 in the region. To other regions of Ukraine the examiner travels from Lviv with the equipment: UAH 12,000 all-inclusive, test included. The VerifEye online test is taken from a phone, from any city or country.

When your partner does not agree: without written consent there is no test. When the question is about feelings or intentions rather than a fact. When the person has already confessed: the test looks for what is concealed, so after a confession we do not run it. We do not test a person who is intoxicated. Some illnesses that affect the pupil and the nervous system can interfere with the test; the examiner checks in the pre-test interview whether the person is fit to take it. According to Converus, EyeDetect accuracy is 86–90% and VerifEye online 84–89%, so errors are possible. In a Ukrainian court the result is not evidence: it is information for your own decision.
This happens when the algorithm could not score the test: broken instructions, random answers, eye or lighting problems. A repeat test is at our expense.
No. The EyeDetect test in our office can be taken anonymously: you still sign the consent, but the system and the report show only a number, with no name or photo. Only eye-movement coordinates, pupil size, and the “true/false” answers are sent to the Converus server for scoring. The VerifEye online test takes a photo for the report, and only you see the report. We do not publish photos or reviews without permission, do not discuss tests, and do not keep reports longer than needed to deliver the result.
