Lie detector test in Paris: what to know

Paris is the capital of France, and there are no flights from Lviv: the trip starts with a bus or a train to Poland. So the fastest option is the VerifEye smartphone test, which you can take today. For an EyeDetect test, a specialist travels from Lviv with the equipment; we agree on the date in advance, once several requests come in from the region.

How to take the test in Paris

We have no office in Paris. We only work by travelling to the client with EyeDetect equipment or online via VerifEye.

  • Online today: VerifEye

You receive a link, the person takes the test from a phone in a quiet room, in 15–20 minutes. The PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test, the examiner's explanation the same day. Suitable for fidelity checks and job candidates.

  • Specialist visit with EyeDetect

Visits are scheduled around requests: we collect several requests in the region and set a date. The test takes place in your office or a rented room. 6–8 people can be tested in a day.

How much will the test in Paris cost?

Answer 5 short questions and a specialist will calculate the exact price of a visit or an online test and call you back. Free and with no obligation.

Common reasons to book a test

  • Theft or missing money

When several people are under suspicion, each of them answers the same questions. The result is not court evidence and is no substitute for reporting to the police.

  • Infidelity in a relationship

We check one specific suspicion: we draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance. The test is voluntary and requires written consent.

  • Job candidate or employee

Screening before hiring or during employment on agreed topics, such as theft at a previous job or ties to competitors.

  • Dispute without evidence

A debt, an agreement or an accusation where it is one person's word against another's: the test checks a specific version of events. The result is not court evidence.

Questions about the test in Paris

  • We have no office in Paris, so there are two options. You can take the VerifEye online test today on your phone, in a quiet room at home or at work. The EyeDetect test takes place during a specialist visit, in your office or a rented room in Paris.

  • VerifEye online test: UAH 2,500 (≈ €49) for one question, UAH 4,000 (≈ €78) for three, UAH 6,000 (≈ €116) for six, with no extra charges. EyeDetect with a visit: from UAH 10,000 (≈ €194) for one question and UAH 15,000 (≈ €291) for three, plus travel from Lviv and the venue. Prices are in hryvnias; euro amounts are approximate, at the NBU rate of 15.09.2026.

  • We plan trips to France once several requests come in from the region, so we cannot tell you in advance how long the wait will be. Once the date is agreed, a specialist comes from Lviv with EyeDetect equipment, and the test takes place in your office or a rented room. If you need an answer sooner, you can take the VerifEye online test today: the test takes 15–20 minutes, and the PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test.

  • The direct FlixBus from Lviv to Paris takes from 31 hours 20 minutes by timetable and covers 1,874 km; a one-way ticket costs €89–96 (≈ UAH 4,585–4,945) depending on the date. For the equipment this is the most convenient option: a 20 kg case up to 80 × 50 × 30 cm travels free, and a second one can be added for a fee. A faster route is a bus to Kraków (5 hours 5 minutes by timetable, from €27, ≈ UAH 1,390) and then a direct flight to Charles de Gaulle or Beauvais; there are no flights from Lviv. As of 16.09.2026 the Rome2Rio planner estimated such a trip, with a flight from Poland, at about 10 hours and UAH 6,200–22,700 one way, but that is an aggregator estimate rather than a carrier quote, and timetable times do not include queues at the border. Travel and the venue are paid separately from the test. We will give you the exact round-trip amount once the dates are known.

  • Yes. The VerifEye online test also works when the partners are in different countries: the link opens on a phone in Paris just as it does in Lviv. The test checks one suspicion over a specific period; the partner under suspicion takes it, or both take separate tests. The online test costs from UAH 2,500 (≈ €49), and you do not need to wait for a visit.

  • No. You can take the test in Ukrainian, Russian, English or German. We do not run the test in French, so in France people usually choose Ukrainian or English. We draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance.

  • We found no separate French law on private lie detector tests. In its recruitment guide, Guide Recrutement, the data protection authority CNIL states that there is no specific text governing such candidate assessment tools; the guide does not mention polygraphs, lie detection or eye tracking at all. A private voluntary test falls under the EU data protection rules (GDPR) and the French Informatique et Libertés act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978. We test only with written consent, and minors only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present; the consent also covers recording, because article 226-1 of the French Criminal Code punishes recording a private conversation without the person's consent with one year's imprisonment and a €45,000 fine. The rules for testing employees and job candidates are much stricter: the Labour Code requires that the person be expressly informed of the method in advance (articles L1221-8 and L1222-3), that the method be relevant to the purpose and proportionate (L1221-8, L1121-1) and that questions have a direct and necessary link with the job (L1221-6); collecting data through a device the person has not been told about is prohibited (L1221-9), and in a company with a social and economic committee (CSE) such methods go to the committee first (L2312-38). CNIL adds that assessment carried out by surprise, without the person's knowledge, does not comply with the rules, and that processing which breaches the Labour Code's recruitment rules cannot be regarded as lawful under the GDPR. So before testing employees or candidates, be sure to talk to a lawyer. We found no French court decision accepting the result of such a test as evidence: in the Juricaf database the word polygraphe appears in French cases only in its medical sense, and the closest example is the Court of Cassation, criminal division, 21 January 1998, case no. 97-82141, where the court refused the accused a narcoanalysis because the trial court itself assesses whether such measures are needed. Our result is not court evidence.
