The VerifEye app by Converus
The same developer as EyeDetect, but a different product: the test runs in an app on an iPhone or Android phone. The front camera records the pupil, eye movements, and blinking; the microphone records the answers.
84–89% accuracy
In a 2024 Converus validation study (123 participants, laboratory conditions, VerifEye 3R test) accuracy was 89%. Converus states 84–89% depending on conditions: 89% under an examiner's supervision in ideal conditions, closer to 84% without them; lighting, the phone, and adherence to instructions affect the result, so we provide detailed instructions before the test. EyeDetect in our Lviv office is more accurate (86–90%).
Report and the examiner's explanation
You receive the Converus Credibility Score, a “credible / not credible” conclusion, and the person's answers. Our examiner prepares the questions, checks the test conditions, and explains the report.
How it works

Order
Call us or leave a request on the site: who is taking the test and what needs to be checked. Together we formulate 1–3 questions.

Link to the phone
The person receives a link and brief instructions: a quiet room, good lighting, 20 free minutes, the phone on a stand. The link opens the free VerifEye app (iOS or Android).

A test of about 10 minutes
First a short training video. Then the app asks the questions by voice, the person answers aloud, the microphone records the answers, and the camera records the eye reactions.

Report by email
The same day you receive a PDF report with the Credibility Score and an explanation from the examiner of what it means for your situation.

There is no surcharge for urgency or weekends with VerifEye. For serious decisions (theft, an investigation, a dispute over a large sum) we recommend EyeDetect in our Lviv office: it is more accurate.

Questions and answers
The pupil and the micro-movements of the eyes cannot be controlled consciously. If a person answers at random, looks away from the screen, or breaks the instructions, the test is declared invalid and repeated.
The test can be retaken via the same link. We recommend turning on airplane mode with Wi-Fi enabled.
No, only the client receives the report. The person taking the test sees only that it has finished.
No. In Ukraine, lie detector test results are not admissible as evidence. This is a tool for your decision.
The test is designed for an iOS or Android smartphone. It does not run on a laptop.
No. The instructions and questions are spoken by a voice in the app, and the person answers aloud. No reading is required, so the test also suits people who have trouble seeing small text.
The test is built on the Converus protocol with three topics plus one comparison topic. So in one test we check one to three topics.
