The direct bus from Lviv to Bratislava takes about 16 hours by timetable, and a one-way ticket costs roughly UAH 1,700–3,900 (≈ €33–75) depending on the dates. Yes. You can take the test in Ukrainian, Russian, English or German. We do not run the test in other languages, including Slovak. We draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance.
We found no Slovak law that regulates private lie detector tests. The laws that mention such checks apply only to state services such as the police. A private voluntary test falls under the general EU data protection rules (GDPR) and Slovakia's personal data protection act. We test only with written consent, and minors only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present. The rules for testing employees and job candidates are stricter, so talk to a lawyer before such a test. In rulings from 2002, 2014 and 2023, Slovakia's Supreme Court held that polygraph results cannot be evidence in criminal cases, and our result is not court evidence either.
