How to take the test in Ljubljana
We have no office in Ljubljana. We only work by travelling to the client with EyeDetect equipment or online via VerifEye.
Online today: VerifEye
You receive a link, the person takes the test from a phone in a quiet room, in 15–20 minutes. The PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test, the examiner's explanation the same day. Suitable for fidelity checks and job candidates.
Specialist visit with EyeDetect
Visits are scheduled around requests: we collect several requests in the region and set a date. The test takes place in your office or a rented room. 6–8 people can be tested in a day.
How much will the test in Ljubljana cost?
Answer 5 short questions and a specialist will calculate the exact price of a visit or an online test and call you back. Free and with no obligation.
Common reasons to book a test
Theft or missing money
When several people are under suspicion, each of them answers the same questions. The result is not court evidence and is no substitute for reporting to the police.
Infidelity in a relationship
We check one specific suspicion: we draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance. The test is voluntary and requires written consent.
Job candidate or employee
Screening before hiring or during employment on agreed topics, such as theft at a previous job or ties to competitors.
Dispute without evidence
A debt, an agreement or an accusation where it is one person's word against another's: the test checks a specific version of events. The result is not court evidence.
Maribor, Celje and other towns in Slovenia

Questions about the test in Ljubljana
We have no office in Ljubljana, so there are two options. You can take the VerifEye online test today on your phone, in a quiet room at home or at work. The EyeDetect test takes place during a specialist visit, in your office or a rented room in Ljubljana.
VerifEye online test: UAH 2,500 (≈ €49) for one question, UAH 4,000 (≈ €78) for three, UAH 6,000 (≈ €116) for six, with no extra charges. EyeDetect with a visit: from UAH 10,000 (≈ €194) for one question and UAH 15,000 (≈ €291) for three, plus travel from Lviv and the venue. Prices are in hryvnias; euro amounts are approximate, at the NBU rate of 15.09.2026.
We plan trips to Slovenia once several requests come in from the region, so we cannot promise an exact date in advance. When there are enough requests, we agree on a date with you, and a specialist comes from Lviv with EyeDetect equipment. The test takes place in your office or a rented room. If you need an answer sooner, you can take the VerifEye online test today: it takes 15–20 minutes, and the PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test.
There is no direct bus from Lviv to Ljubljana. FlixBus sells this route only with one or two changes: from 22 hours on the road and UAH 2,600–7,200 one way including the booking fee. The fastest option leaves the Stryiskyi bus station at 18:50, changes in Budapest and arrives at 15:50 the next day, for roughly UAH 2,600–5,700. There is also a route via Trieste: 25 hours and UAH 6,900–7,200. The train works out about the same, roughly 22.5 hours with two changes. One way goes via Vienna and Villach, with a sleeping car from Lviv. The other goes via Chop and Budapest, from where a direct train runs to Ljubljana. We could not check rail fares: the ticket site did not answer our request. There is no direct flight to Ljubljana from the airports near Lviv. The only neighbouring one is Warsaw (Chopin), from where LOT flies in 1 hour 35 minutes. The airline's site did not show us those fares either. The bus from Lviv to Warsaw runs with no change in 10.5–11 hours for roughly UAH 1,600. Another way around is the Ryanair flight from Kraków to Trieste: about 1.5 hours roughly three days a week, from UAH 800 one way, up to UAH 5,500 on expensive dates and excluding luggage. The bus from Lviv to Kraków airport takes 9.5 hours with no change on some dates, or 12–16.5 hours with a change, for UAH 1,700–2,000. From there the Trieste — Ljubljana bus takes 1.5 hours for UAH 800–1,800. On the bus, 20 kg in the hold is included in the ticket if the case fits 50×30×80 cm. Otherwise we book the equipment as special luggage. By car it is about 1,040 km and 13 hours of driving via Berehove and Budapest. The other route is 1,160 km and 12.5 hours via Krakovets, Czechia and Vienna. That is without stops or queues at the borders. Ticket prices change daily, so treat these as a guide, not a fixed amount. Travel and the venue are paid separately from the test. We will give you the exact round-trip amount once the dates are known.

Yes. The test checks one specific suspicion, for example infidelity over a certain period. The partner under suspicion takes it, or both partners take separate tests. The test is voluntary and requires written consent. The VerifEye online test costs from UAH 2,500 (≈ €49), and you do not need to wait for a visit.
Yes. You can take the test in Ukrainian, Russian, English or German. We do not run the test in Slovenian. We draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance.
We found no Slovenian law on private voluntary lie detector tests: such tests are neither expressly allowed nor expressly banned. The only law that provides for the polygraph is the Police Tasks and Powers Act (Zakon o nalogah in pooblastilih policije, ZNPPol). Under its Article 48, the police may use a polygraph only as an aid in investigating criminal offences and only with the person's written consent. Before the test, the person is told the purpose, the method and the fact that the results cannot be used as evidence in criminal proceedings. For a minor, the parents or a guardian give the consent, and children are not tested. In VIII Ips 14/2023 of 24.10.2023, the Supreme Court of Slovenia (Vrhovno sodišče RS) stated that polygraph testing is not regulated in any other law, including the Detective Activities Act (ZDD-1). The court added that the absence of an express ban does not make such testing lawful. In the same case the court held unlawful an employer's testing of its staff after an anonymous letter. Consent given within an employment relationship is judged especially strictly, and here it was not free: the workers feared that refusing would mark them as the letter's authors. We found no mention of eye-tracking tests such as EyeDetect in Slovenian laws or court rulings, so the position of a purely private test remains unsettled. Personal data is protected by the GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2), in force since 26.01.2023. The Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec) supervises it. We found no guidance from that authority specifically on polygraphs. Slovenian courts consistently treat polygraph results as unreliable. In I Ips 185/2009 the Supreme Court required the polygraph record to be removed from the case file as inadmissible evidence. In I Ips 53718/2020 of 13.02.2023 it called it settled case law that such evidence cannot be used at the main hearing, even at the defendant's request. In civil cases, the Ljubljana Higher Court also called the polygraph unreliable evidence in I Cp 2676/2017. So we do not promise that the result can be used in court: our conclusion is not court evidence. We test only with written consent, and minors only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present. The rules for testing employees and job candidates are stricter, so talk to a lawyer before such a test.
