How to take the test in Athens

We have no office in Athens. We only work by travelling to the client with EyeDetect equipment or online via VerifEye.

  • Online today: VerifEye

You receive a link, the person takes the test from a phone in a quiet room, in 15–20 minutes. The PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test, the examiner's explanation the same day. Suitable for fidelity checks and job candidates.

  • Specialist visit with EyeDetect

Visits are scheduled around requests: we collect several requests in the region and set a date. The test takes place in your office or a rented room. 6–8 people can be tested in a day.

How much will the test in Athens cost?

Answer 5 short questions and a specialist will calculate the exact price of a visit or an online test and call you back. Free and with no obligation.

Common reasons to book a test

  • Theft or missing money

When several people are under suspicion, each of them answers the same questions. The result is not court evidence and is no substitute for reporting to the police.

  • Infidelity in a relationship

We check one specific suspicion: we draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance. The test is voluntary and requires written consent.

  • Job candidate or employee

Screening before hiring or during employment on agreed topics, such as theft at a previous job or ties to competitors.

  • Dispute without evidence

A debt, an agreement or an accusation where it is one person's word against another's: the test checks a specific version of events. The result is not court evidence.

What people come to us with

Typical requests from different cities and countries, without names or details.

  • Companies

    Traffic arbitrage

Screening candidates and employees to check whether they pass the company's offers to competitors.

  • Companies

    Call centres

Screening operators before hiring, and internal investigations when staff have access to money or the client database.

  • Businesses and families

Theft at work or at home

When several people are under suspicion, each takes the test with the same questions. Minors take it only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present.

  • Couples

    Suspected infidelity

The test checks one specific suspicion over a certain period. We draw up the questions together, and the person reads them in advance.

The test result is not court evidence.

  • There is no direct bus from Lviv to Athens: FlixBus sells this route only with three changes, once a week, from 80 hours on the road and for UAH 14,600–16,700 one way. Flying is faster. The bus from Lviv to Katowice takes 7.5–10.5 hours by timetable (roughly UAH 1,300–1,800), and the bus to Kraków 6–9 hours (UAH 1,200–1,900). The direct flight from there to Athens takes about 2.5 hours. From Budapest the flight is the shortest, about 2 hours, and the direct bus from Lviv to Budapest takes about 13 hours (UAH 2,000–3,700). • Yes. The test checks one specific suspicion, for example infidelity over a certain period. The partner under suspicion takes it, or both partners take separate tests. The test is voluntary and requires written consent. The VerifEye online test costs from UAH 2,500 (≈ €49), and you do not need to wait for a visit.

  • Yes. You can take the test in Ukrainian, Russian, English or German. We do not run the test in Greek. We draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance.

  • We found no Greek law on private voluntary lie detector tests: such tests are neither expressly allowed nor expressly banned. The only direct mention is Article 137A of the Penal Code (Law 4619/2019). Using a "truth detector" is named there as an offence against human dignity, but only for civil servants and military personnel who investigate cases, conduct interrogations or guard detainees, and only against a person in their power. Private examiners are not covered by that text. Article 177 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Law 4620/2019) adds that the court assesses evidence on its own conviction and does not take into account evidence obtained through criminal acts. We found no decision of the Areios Pagos (Greece's Supreme Court) or any other Greek court on polygraphs, so we do not promise that the result can be used in court: our conclusion is not court evidence. Personal data is protected by the GDPR and Greek Law 4624/2019, supervised by the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. We also found no decision or guidance from that authority specifically on polygraphs. We test only with written consent, and minors only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present. The rules for testing employees and job candidates are stricter. Under Article 27 of Law 4624/2019, an employee's consent is a legal basis only by exception. It must be given in writing and separately from the employment contract, and these rules also cover job applicants. The Data Protection Authority stresses that consent is rarely valid because of the employee's dependency on the employer. Its Directive 115/2001 allows tests that assess a candidate's personality only in exceptional cases and with written consent after the method and purpose are explained, although polygraphs are not mentioned there. So talk to a lawyer before testing employees.
