Common reasons to book a test
Theft or missing money
When several people are under suspicion, each of them answers the same questions. The result is not court evidence and is no substitute for reporting to the police.
Infidelity in a relationship
We check one specific suspicion: we draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance. The test is voluntary and requires written consent.
Job candidate or employee
Screening before hiring or during employment on agreed topics, such as theft at a previous job or ties to competitors.
Dispute without evidence
A debt, an agreement or an accusation where it is one person's word against another's: the test checks a specific version of events. The result is not court evidence.
What people come to us with
Typical requests from different cities and countries, without names or details.
Companies
Traffic arbitrage
Screening candidates and employees to check whether they pass the company's offers to competitors.
Companies
Call centres
Screening operators before hiring, and internal investigations when staff have access to money or the client database.
Businesses and families
Theft at work or at home
When several people are under suspicion, each takes the test with the same questions. Minors take it only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present.
Couples
Suspected infidelity
The test checks one specific suspicion over a certain period. We draw up the questions together, and the person reads them in advance.
The test result is not court evidence.

Once the date is agreed, a specialist comes from Lviv with EyeDetect equipment, and the test takes place in your office or a rented room. If you need an answer sooner, you can take the VerifEye online test today: the test takes 15–20 minutes, and the PDF report comes within 5 minutes after the test.
The bus from Lviv to Brussels takes from 28 hours by timetable, but most services run with one to three changes, for example in Warsaw, Cologne or Kassel, and take 33–38 hours. A one-way ticket costs roughly UAH 2,300–10,300 (≈ €44–199), and on most dates the cheapest options are UAH 3,100–4,900 (≈ €60–95). A faster route is a bus to Kraków (5–11 hours by timetable) and a flight to Charleroi airport (about 2 hours): together roughly UAH 3,350–12,000 (≈ €65–233), including the fee for a bag with the equipment, but without the transfers to the airport in Kraków and from Charleroi to Brussels. Travel and the venue are paid separately from the test. We will give you the exact round-trip amount once the dates are known.

Yes. The test checks one specific suspicion, for example infidelity over a certain period. The partner under suspicion takes it, or both partners take separate tests. The test is voluntary and requires written consent. The VerifEye online test costs from UAH 2,500 (≈ €49), and you do not need to wait for a visit.
No. You can take the test in Ukrainian, Russian, English or German; German is also one of Belgium's official languages. We do not run the test in French or Dutch. We draw up the questions together with you, and the person reads them in advance.
In Belgium the polygraph is regulated only within criminal proceedings. The Law of 4 February 2020 added article 112duodecies to the Code of Criminal Procedure: the test may be offered by the public prosecutor or the investigating judge, taking it is voluntary, and a refusal has no legal effect. In a criminal case the result counts only as evidence that corroborates other evidence, and on its own it cannot be the basis for a decision. The Royal Decree of 28 June 2021 sets out the device requirements: a classic physiological polygraph with seven recording channels. We found no separate Belgian law on private voluntary tests — the EU data protection rules (GDPR) and the Law of 30 July 2018 apply, and the supervisory authority is the Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA). We test only with written consent, and minors only with written consent from their parents and with the parents present. The rules for testing employees and job candidates are stricter, so talk to a lawyer before such a test. On 19 October 2022 Belgium's Court of Cassation confirmed that the judge decides whether a polygraph test is needed and may find it insufficiently reliable. Our result is not court evidence.
