Gambling and Hidden Spending: A Lie Detector Test
Bets, online casinos, payday loans, and sold belongings are rarely visible right away, and suspicion destroys trust faster than the debt itself. The test answers specific questions about a specific period. For someone in recovery from gambling addiction, it is a way to show a partner, with a result rather than words, that they are not gambling.

How the test solves it
Questions about bets, loans, and accounts, not about “addiction”
We do not ask whether a person has a problem. We ask whether they placed bets since a specific date, whether they took a loan or a payday loan without the partner's knowledge, whether they have hidden cards or accounts. Every question has a yes-or-no answer.
Both partners read the questions in advance
Before the test, you agree on the wording together: what counts as a bet, from which date we count, which amounts are meant. The person knows every question before the test begins. It is not a trap but a check both partners agreed to.
A separate score for each topic
The report shows a score from 1 to 99 for each topic. It may turn out that there were no bets but there is a hidden loan, or the other way around. You see exactly where the problem is and talk about that, not about everything at once.
Periodic testing for someone in recovery
A person who has stopped gambling often has no way to prove it: the partner has already heard promises. A test every few months with the same questions gives the partner a fact instead of a promise. Online from a phone it takes 15 minutes, with no visit to the office.

Questions and answers
No. The test is taken voluntarily only, with written consent. If the person offers to take the test themselves, that is already part of rebuilding trust.
The questions are about facts only: bets, loans, accounts within a specific period. We do not ask about feelings, cravings, or health. Nataliia Marynyak, psychologist and certified Converus Test Proctor, agrees the wording with you so that the test does not sound like an interrogation.
This happens in no more than 10 cases out of 100, most often because of fatigue or nervousness. A repeat test is 50% off. An inconclusive result does not mean “gambling”.
No. In Ukraine, the test result is not evidence in court, and a bank does not take it into account. It is a tool for a conversation between the two of you. Only you see the report, and the test can be taken anonymously: under a number, with no name or photo.
